“October” – Original Canvas

Acrylic, Gelatin and Gesso on Canvas.

October marks a time of change… the seasons, temperatures and colors all contribute to this change. As I started this painting, I had no direction on where it was going or what I wanted to accomplish; as I finished my first base coat, the sky and weather outside turned from a light blue to a hazy green overcast then grew dark filled with storm clouds. The leaves on the trees outside my studio window popped with fall colors against the darkness of the sky.
